In 2013, Scooby was doxxed by users of the 4chan board /sp/. Throughout 2009-2013 he would repeatably appear on fitness websites and forums such as, Steroidology, Neoseeker, FitDay, and /fit/ in both serious and meme threads. His first mention outside of YouTube was in Yahoo! Answers in 2008 in a thread about pectoral exercises, where the original poster called him a genius. Scooby is known for being one of the first big fitness YouTubers. He still continues to upload on YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram. In 2021, he shut down his websites and Facebook page. He is also known for his sense of humor and appearing to genuinely care for his audience. Scooby is known to be topless with either a bucket hat or a fedora. The series covers exercises you can do at home with little or no equipment, nutrition and meal plans, fitness related debates, and general motivation and life advice. Scooby's Workshop is a web-series based around bodybuilding and weight-loss.
